From receiving to the front counter, our staff is comprised entirely of musicians with the experience to answer even the toughest questions to help you get the right gear. General Information Collection - We obtain information in a number about you in a number of ways. Including, but not limited to, email correspondence, direct mail, wish lists, phone conversations and personal accounts. This information is used to facilitate transactions, keep you informed (of specials or new product and feature announcements) and let us know that we are on the right track in our product selection. This generally includes name and email address only.

Cookies - Many sites use "cookies" to enhance the browsing experience. Cookies are basically bits of personal info that is stored on your computer that tells our site software about your recent visits with our site. Many people choose to disable cookies on their browser in an effort to remain anonymous and safeguard their info from businesses who would sell that information. Alpha Music does not, nor will it ever sell or exchange your information. While cookies are necessary for certain features like the "Wish List" and will speed up a transaction process, they are not necessary to browse the site.

Children - We at Alpha Music recognize that children are the future of music and will take every precaution to ensure that our site is free of inappropriate merchandise and language, having said that we do present some products that hopefully will be of interest to children. We ask, however, that children under the age of 13 obtain permission to use our site and all transactions must be conducted by an adult.

Opt-out - You may, at any time, choose to be removed from our lists and/or terminate your account. Simply click here and follow the instructions.

Any information collected beyond name and email address is done so using a process called "SSL" or "Secure Sockets Layering" to encrypt your data. Using this process, your information is transmitted just as safely as if it were given over the phone.

Wire Transfer - Alpha Music does not accept wire transfers.

Free Shipping! - All U.S. orders over $99.99 are eligible for free ground shipping. Some items may be subject to an extra over-sized charge due to their weight and/or dimensions. We always aim to be as competitive as possible on shipping and keep these charges to an absolute minimum at all times.

Most eligible items will ship UPS ground, some items may ship USPS.

Shipping Address - We prefer to ship only to the billing address of your credit card or payment method. Credit Card fraud has sadly become very common place and we have this policy in place to protect both you; our customer, and ourselves. All orders are shipped fully Insured and Signature Required for delivery. We understand that it is not always convenient to be available to receive a package at home. If you must have an order sent to a different address please contact us and we may be able to make an exception. This will require you to contact your credit card or issuing bank and let them know that you need to add an alternate shipping address to your account. It is a little bit of a pain, however the banks are very used to it and they should be happy to help.

Order Processing - Most orders placed before 3:00 pm Eastern will ship the same day. All orders are subject to 24 hour verification period. We are very good at this, and can normally verify everything within a matter of minutes. This is simply another step to ensure that you are as safe as possible from identity theft and credit card fraud. Any order placed after 3:00pm should ship out on the following business day following verification.

To help us get your gear to you as fast as possible please confirm that the billing address and phone number you give us matches the information on file with your issuing bank.

Exceptions and Delays - APO, FPO, and PO Boxes cannot be delivered via UPS so there may be a delay in shipping to accommodate extra verification and will be shipped through USPS.

Damaged Shipments - We do our best to package all items carefully, but occasionally some damage occurs in transit. We fully insure all shipments. In the event of obvious damage upon receipt, refuse the shipment. If damage is concealed, contact the local office of the shipping agent and request an inspection. Alpha Music cannot file claims on any packages until they have been inspected. The package can then be returned to us and we will ship another piece of merchandise to you.

Drop-Shipped and Back-Ordered Products - We make every attempt to ship an item within the quoted shipping times, however sometimes shipment delays are beyond our control. As long as your purchase is not a special order, you may cancel at any time prior to the shipment of your product. Once your purchase ships any cancellations are subject to applicable shipping charges and a 20% re-stock fee. If your item was a special order, they are completely non-refundable.

With the exception of some used gear, Alpha Music is an authorized dealer for everything that we sell. Additionally, we are an authorized repair center for most brands as well. So this means should your gear ever require service we can provide it in house or assist you in locating a service center in your area.

Approval Period - If you are not satisfied, neither are we! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it in the same condition in which it was received, with "all original packaging" includes power supplies, cables, owners manuals, packaging materials, etc. for a full refund (excluding shipping charges). Return arrangements must be made within 48 hours. Please be sure to pack the unit in the manner in which it was sent to you and insure the box for the purchase price. Books, videos, microphones and harmonicas (due to health regulations) are exempt from the return policy.

Defective Merchandise - Rarely does a piece of defective merchandise leave Alpha en route to a customer, but occasionally it may get damaged along the way. Should your package arrive and the contents be found to be defective, Please contact us immediately for return/replacement arrangements. Please refer also to our "Damaged Shipments" section above.
