I have been playing about 8 years, I have a large private practice space here in Gloucester, I can practice twice a week, and would like to eventually play out. I have played in two local bands, and have played plenty of shows in and out of town.

| My friend Breck and I just recently started jamming together and have a pretty decent sound but would sound alot better if we had more people involved to help out. Were looking for someone around the ages of 18 an 25. Our style of rock is just basic alternitive/pop punk/rock. Our influences and sound come from bands like The Offspring, Blink 182, Weezer, Brand New, and Green Day. Our band isnt official yet until we get more people in at least someone who plays bass or guitar an can help back up on vocals. We are down to take this serious so hopefully whoever wants in feels the same way. We love to play covers and play just about everything that we make into our style. We have a couple of originals but still working on them. We're pretty much just looking for anyone that can actually play and keep up with us if you dont have a bass or amp we have them. We have a couple of instrumental recordings of us on purevolume so you can get the jiff of our sound, and yeah we know the quaility isnt perfect so dont judge. | Rock bassist wanted |
| New local 4 piece, based in Va Beach- losing our bassist soon. Shooting to be gig ready within the next couple of months. We are seasoned musicians, ranging in age from late 20's-late 30's. This is not our full time gig- we all have families/careers separate from music, but want to have fun playing a few shows here and there.
We are interested in covers that differ from the plain old rechurned crap everyone has played a million times, and instead, concentrate on songs that will still be recognizable by some, interesting to all, and refreshing to perform.
We are currently working on songs by the following: Oasis, The Cars, Fastball, Sugar, Weezer, The Hives, Kings Of Leon, Rocket From The Crypt, Supersuckers, Idlewild, Jimmy Eat World, Superdrag, Supergrass, Lemonheads, and Matthew Sweet. We have many, many more songs in consideration, but the above should paint a fairly good picture.
We're looking for someone who is on the same page- agewise and musically- has pro equipment, is in good shape/health, is not full of himself, and will not flake out on learning tunes and showing up for rehearsals/gigs. If you can sing, all the better.
We are moderate/social drinkers, but if your a druggie, don't bother.
