A message from Damien about how he began giving private lessons -

About 13 years ago, a parent that was at one of my concerts asked if I could give her son guitar lessons. The thought had never really crossed my mind before but I like a new challenge so I decided to give it a shot and I highly enjoyed every minute of it. Word quickly got around that I was offering this service and I have been a full time private music instructor ever since. Teaching and performing are two of the most rewarding experiences for myself as a musician. I have been fortunate enough to provide lessons for an uncountable number students in the Hampton Roads area alone as well as many others via online lessons.

I offer private instruction on the following instruments.

  • Bass guitar (4, 5, or 6 string)
  • Electric Guitar
  • Acoustic Guitar
  • Ukulele
  • Trombone
  • Trumpet

I also highly enjoy teaching music theory and composition to all ages and skill levels!

I have taught music to children as young as 5 years old to adults in their 70s. Everyone wants to learn music for different reasons and has very different goals and it is my job is to see what exactly you want from learning how to play. If you are serious about understanding how music works and want to get scales and runs faster than you can imagine or if you just want to have fun and learn some songs to play with friends, I can help you achieve your goals.

No matter why you want to learn more about the world of music, I will put the effort in to make sure you are moving forward as a musician. Contact me right away for information on how to get started! I offer lessons 6 days a week, in person or online!

I look forward to helping you move further on your adventure into the world of music!.
